One week after the death of Wangari Mathai, two african women leaders  to receive the Nobel Peace Prize !

We are grateful to Wangari Mathai and we greet Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee, Tawakkul Karman, Nobel Peace Prize 2011 laureates !

We pay tribute to Mrs. Wangari Mathaï, first african woman to receive a Nobel Prize.

She paved the way for generations of african women to come.

May her ideas, dreams, dynamism and fights, live forever in the heart of  african women.

Some members of AWODIAG took part in Paris, in the rally organized by a group of women's organizations, reacting to the "light" treatment of the women's aspect of the Strauss-Kahn case.
